HCA’s mission is to help all graduates reach their career goals. Thus, in addition to providing the industries best training and certification, HCA also provides a Career Services program, assisting graduates in bridging the gap between graduation and employment.

Career Skills Training
During their time at HCA, students receive “Career Skills Training,” which covers topics such as prospecting with job search tools, interview prep and strategy, Etc. HCA’s faculty are themselves seasoned industry professionals who collectively have hired many hundreds of operators. They know what it takes to impress an employer and land the job in this industry. Through Career Skills Training they pass this knowledge on to students, giving them an edge over other applicants!
Resume Writing
Before graduation, all HCA students will work with the Career Services Coordinator to compose a professional resume, including the student’s new certifications and credentials. Professional resume writing is a service that many individuals pay for, but is available to all HCA students at no cost as part of the Career Services program. A professional resume and cover letter will give all graduates an additional edge over their competition!
Job Leads
The Career Services Coordinator will post all recent job offerings regionally for the benefit of HCA students in training. Also, HCA has compiled and continually updates a database of thousands of employers in the Heavy Equipment industry. Students will be provided the leads of such companies in their area, giving them a head start on their job search!
